I started my career with Admiral in 2004 as a Customer Service Representative in Wales.

I progressed to become a Team Manager and came to Canada to lend a hand in setting up the Halifax office in 2007.

I'm happy to say the Halifax office is every bit as fun as our fantastic culture in the UK. I love Nova Scotia so much, I have decided to stay and the Admiral Share Scheme came in handy. I cashed in my shares to purchase a home outside Halifax with my new family. One of my most celebrated moments since coming to Canada was the birth of my son Liam. As a first time mom I can’t say enough about how great Admiral was around my leave and return to work. They did everything they could to support me; offering flexibility in my work schedule and a bit of retraining to get me up to speed before resuming my role as Team Manger. I couldn’t ask for better support to help me balance the demands of my role as both a manager and a new mother!
